A Good Mother’s Day

A belated post from yesterday.
It was a great Mother’s Day yesterday. I had lunch with my lovely parents at an old-fashioned Taiwanese-style Japanese restaurant.
This place is special to my parents, as it was a popular dating spot when they were young. Since then, it has remained a place my parents like to visit from time to time—not really for the food, but to reconnect with their younger selves.
The place feels like a time capsule for them, and yesterday, I happened to step into it with them.

昨天是個溫馨的母親節。方方跟爸爸媽媽一起去吃他們喜歡的老字號的台式日料。
這間餐廳對我爸媽來說一直都有特別的意義，據說他們年輕時，這算是時髦的約會行程呢。而兩老從年輕時到現在，常常隔一段時間就會去吃一下。我覺得他們不是真的為了食物而去的，他們是為了去重溫年輕時的回憶呢。
昨天，方爸方媽好像搭上時光穿梭機，而我湊巧也和他們搭同一班。
